400 South is a newly-renovated, 8-unit “aparthotel” located just outside historic downtown Cocoa Beach. Situated on one of its popular local beachfront streets, you’ll be in perfect proximity to ocean – think daytime beach sojourns or a romantic sandy sunset walk. It’s a 5-minute walk to downtown, and just 50 steps to the beach from the front door! The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful, with a gated community directly across the street and million-dollar mansions all around!

Located on the first floor of our 8-unit aparthotel, Unit B includes one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom provides ample closet space to stow your belongings, while the bathroom includes a vanity with extra storage space in the closet adjacent the door. The common areas offer plenty of sunlight, highlighting beautiful features like chic vinyl flooring, playful decor, and brand new furniture and appliances, including a dishwasher. In the lounge area you’ll find a loveseat and couch to kick back and stream your favorite show on the Smart TV, while the inviting kitchen is fully stocked with a surf board bar providing seating for four. This ground-floor unit delivers on location with beach access literally 30 seconds away, a shared pool right off your private patio, and downtown Cocoa Beach restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Guests consistently praise the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and responsive host. The main heads-up is that you'll hear footsteps from upstairs neighbors, so light sleepers might want to pack a white noise machine.

A favorite feature was having the pool right outside the unit. It was convenient to check on them. The back door opens to an outdoor area with a table for four and private outdoor shower, with a childproof gate to the shared pool. The pool has little shade, so expect full sun! ☀️
The property is close to “downtown” Cocoa Beach, although not within walking distance. The beach was less than a five-minute walk away.
The space was clean overall, but could use some updating and deeper cleaning. The shower needs caulking, as mold is beginning to develop. It also had a blender and toaster. Laundry is available but not inside the unit.
My only complaint was the upstairs neighbors, who were moving furniture and walking heavily as early as 6 a.m. I’m a light sleeper, so this affected my sleep.
Overall, our experience was wonderful. The pool, beach, location, and memories far outweighed the inconveniences. We would absolutely stay here again!
