Once we got past (what appeared to be) the weird next door neighbors, we had to wrestle a bit with the lock. Now, full transparency it coulda just been my lack of patience. But once inside it literally felt like a retreat on the water. This property looks just like the photos and our host was top tier!

The unit was beautifully clean and recently updated. The location was superb with the beach just a very short walk from the rental. The beach and neighborhood were quiet and clean and we felt very safe. Close to restaurants and entertainment. It was fun to watch the cruise ships from the beach and we were thrilled to watch a rocket launch while we were there.

let me first start with the positive. The inside of the condo is beautiful. Everything is well done and they have many amenities, including rafts, beach, chairs, towels, and even suntan spray.
You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making the place really nice and I appreciate that –
However, two drawbacks are that not all the other condo owners take the same level of care and I would say overall the outside of the building looks a little rundown –
There is a management company involved and they’re very responsive. However, everything is an extra cost – ie early check in , late check out.
In the future, I’m going to definitely book when the owner is involved as I feel like the service is better and more flexible.
Since I am a short term rental owner, I know that you can make a lot of extra money on extra services, but personally, I don’t agree with this philosophy. I think it makes it more in the realm of a hotel than a private residence – the reason airbnb was started !
