A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Thuraya 4 satellite to a geostationary transfer orbit on behalf of Yahsat, a telecommunications company and satellite service provider based in the United Arab Emirates. A little more than eight minutes after liftoff, the first stage booster will land on a droneship positioned in the Atlantic Ocean.
