Despite being neglected by her cruel parents and terrorized by the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda finds friendship and encouragement in her kind teacher, Miss Honey. With cleverness, courage, and a touch of magic, Matilda shows that even the smallest person can stand up for what is right and change their own story.
