DESCRIPTION:The celebration will be held on Friday\, July 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. with fireworks capping off the evening around 9:15 p.m. In addition to the fireworks\, the event will feature more than 20 food trucks\, vendors\, live music\, and a kids’ zone with free inflatables\, games\, and face painting. \nThere is plenty of free general parking for this event! Please use the main entrance on Community College Pkwy behind Lowe’s and park in Eastern Florida State College’s parking lots. All vendors\, VIP parking pass holders and staff working the event will use the Jupiter Blvd entrance and park in designated areas. Beginning around 4pm on Friday\, July 5 the areas of Malabar Rd\, Jupiter Blvd SE and San Filippo Dr SE near Eastern Florida State College are expected to be congested. Please plan your travels accordingly and use alternate routes when necessary.

Pilot Kim McCourt will be leading our hot air balloon night and you’re invited to join from setup through clean up. \nKim will show the process of what goes into hot air ballooning\, and once set up will lead tethered flights for a portion of the evening ($25 per person riding). Set a reminder in your calendar\, because this is an event you won’t want to miss! \nBuy your tickets here to reserve your spot on one of the tethered flights of the evening. 2 to 3 passengers can ride at once and the flight is weight dependent. All tickets are $25\, regardless of age. \nFlights will last a few minutes and are an ideal opportunity to see Merritt Island from above and get a feel for what hot air ballooning is all about! \nPLEASE NOTE\, THE DATE WILL BE DETERMINED BY WEATHER AND WILL BE FINALISED AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE DATE RANGE. \nThe event will be on only ONE of the following dates:\nMay 23rd\nMay 24th\nMay 25th \nThe time for the date will stay the same\, from 6 pm to 9 pm\, regardless of the date.
